Passport - check, tickets erm...So its just over a week before i jet off to Barcelona for a few days break and also get to see Arctic Monkeys performing at the Sant Jordi Club on the 6th Feb it will be the first time i've seen them since they played at Leeds Festival back in August last year after Humbug's release only 4 days prior. However there is one slight issue - i dont have the tickets for the concert yet i have to collect them from a ticket collection point in Barcelona - wish me luck!
I'm interested to see how the setlist line's up and hopefully - fingers crossed get to see some of the omitted older favourites of mine 'Leave Before The Lights Come On' for instance, however im not holding my breath i guess a good indicator will be the setlists from the French Tour dates.
To celebrate this and me travelling to see Arctic Monkeys i would like to offer a free download to the one of my favourite Audio Live Arctic Monkeys performances is the last time the band played at the Razzmatazz venue back in 2007 - for all of those of you who havent got this performance click here to download (You just need to be signed in to the forum to access - no 50 post limitation)

My Propeller will be released on the 22nd March 2010 - we have no details on the Tracklisting or Artwork yet, however the video is rumored to contain a mix of "live action and animation" more details and to discuss this release in the forum here

Alex Turner's Fender Stratocaster Auction
At the time of writing this blog entry the bid amount of £2,700 is currently winning the auction, i think this is an amazing gesture from the band to auction the most iconic guitar in Arctic Monkeys' history made famous by the 'I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor' video. To follow the auction and to discuss this auction there is a thread in the forum here

Pat's Back!
In my previous blog entry i announced the departure of Pat T 24 from the moderating team well thanks to a change of heart im sure you will all joining me in welcoming Pat back to the moderating team he never really left though did he, but anyways welcome back Pat!
100,000 Posts!
Thats right currently the forum is closing in on 100,000 posts which is a landmark achievement considering this forum was opened after the release of 'Favourite Worst Nightmare' its been a pleasure & a privilege to be able to share everyone's experiences and highlights over the last 2 years and look forward to the future! Of course we would have hit this threshold a while ago except stupid here deleted almost 8,000 posts! Doh!
AMUK 3.1
Twitter Integration
In the comming weeks we will be performing an upgrade to the forum software here at AMUK to version 3.1 in the next release one of the many new features to be added will be Twitter integration here are a few example shots of what this will allow you to do.
Login using your Twitter Account.
Configure the way you wish to publish information to/from Twitter
You will be able to write tweets on AMUK and it will push the message's out to Twitter and if configured the other way too.
An example of how the Tweets would look on your Twitter account
As mentioned this is one of many features that will be added in this new release - i will of course update everyone nearer to the upgrade of the other many features that will be added.
Next Blog
My next blog will be published on or around the 9th/10th Feb and will be all about my trip to Barcelona and will include my review of the concert.
If any of you are travelling to the gig i hope to get the chance to say "hola" i might be the guying asking to buy a ticket outside the gig! :P
Right then where the hell is my passport...never mind my tickets :P Wish me luck! Hope you all enjoy the Barcelona gig download too!

Ive visited Barcelona before but only for a day so it will be an adventure wrapped into a concert - really looking forward to it. Btw your Them Crooked Vultures review is brilliant go read it people!
